LASSEN COUNTY, Calif. — Around 10,000 marijuana plants were seized during a Lassen County drug bust over the past few weeks.
The Lassen County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) said that with help fromLassen County Code Enforcement, they began investigating the illegal cultivation of marijuana occurring in the Ravendale area in Aug. of 2024.
“Personnel from the Sheriff’s Office flew two large suspected grow sites in Ravendale, located off Tuledad Road. The grow sites were determined to be on two separate parcels,” said LCSO.
Officials said that the two locations had around 18 large greenhouses, outbuildings and trailers. It was confirmed that marijuana was being grown at these locations and search warrants for the properties were issued.
