WEST HARTFORD — If you’re new to cannabis, or looking for milder THC products, Sweetspot might be the dispensary for you.
The hybrid recreational and medical dispensary — the first of its kind in town — recently opened in West Hartford at the corner of Park Road and Prospect Avenue, becoming the second dispensary to open in town after Budr opened in July. It will also be the last to open, unless the town makes changes to its own ordinance to allow for more.
“What makes us different than a lot of our competitors is that we’re very focused on folks that are interested but intimidated to try cannabis products,” said Jason Webski, who founded the company along with fellow Stamford native Ben Herbst. “You’ll find Sweetspot stores traditionally source milder products, spend a lot more time on education and have a lot more personalization.”
