Arizona’s cannabis scene just got a sleek, pod-powered upgrade. HYPHEN, a new modular vape system from Verano Holdings, has officially launched in the Grand Canyon State, promising convenience, versatility, and a little futuristic flair for cannabis enthusiasts.
The HYPHEN system is designed around a base unit with interchangeable pods, allowing users to switch oils and formats without juggling multiple devices. It offers 1-gram “Essence” pods featuring popular strains like Pineapple Express and Gelato, and 2-gram “Savvy” pods highlighting flavor-focused varieties such as Grape Kush and Blue Raz Haze. In other words, whether you’re chasing classics or just flavors that make your taste buds dance, HYPHEN has you covered.
The device itself is built with modern features: a side-bar battery, pre-heat function, three temperature settings, and an embedded NFC chip that lets users access promotions straight from their smartphones. It’s basically a tiny, smart vapor genie that fits in your pocket.
David Spreckman, Verano’s Chief Marketing Officer, said the launch represents a new era for vaping. “Consumers are looking for increased value, convenience, quality, and versatility,” he explained. “HYPHEN lives at the intersection of simplicity and innovation and sets a new standard for the category.”
The rollout has begun in Arizona through Zen Leaf Dispensaries and select retailers. The product is also available in Illinois, Maryland, and New Jersey, with plans to expand into other states, including Connecticut, Florida, Nevada, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and West Virginia.
Arizona legalized recreational cannabis in 2020, and dispensaries have since flourished, especially in Phoenix, Tucson, and Flagstaff. Now, residents of legal age can get their hands on the HYPHEN system either in-store or via online ordering with in-store pickup.
With its mix of convenience, tech, and style, HYPHEN aims to make vaping a little smarter—and a lot more fun—for Arizonans.
