Welcome back from the Boston Freedom Rally. This weekend Double D, Uncle Lou, CannaPete, The Red Baron and Dabpunk710 attended this great event full of peace and love. I want to give a huge thank you to the Dabbindad team for such an amazing time.

As you walk into the Boston Common you are bombarded by a team of Lollipop wielding “street teamers”. One of our non-smoking guest asked about these candies and their validity. We picked up one and saw they were hemp oil/cbd lollipops. Disappointed, they were being marketed as thc pops. I told my friend, no worries… we can make great candies at home.

Once back to the kitchen, we got to work. Still riding high on the rallies positive vibes we grabbed what we needed to make the base for most candies. The Infused corn syrup!

Cannabis corn Syrup

Electric double boiler
3 cups Light Corn Syrup
1 ounce finely ground cannabis
cheesecloth
spoon
Mason jar with lid
Strainer
Place decarboxylated ground flowers into the double boiler with the light corn syrup. Allow the mixture to heat and steep, but do not boil, for no less then 4 hours. Stir often. Once time has passed and the corn syrup has become infused with the cannabis, strain the mixture into the mason jar thru the cheesecloth and strainer thru a funnel. Press onto plant matter to make sure and get all of the goodness. Repeat just to make sure your mixture is void of any plant matter.

With this base infusion you can make many types of candies and drinkables. Look out for next week where we will use that corn syrup to make lollipops and jolly ranchers.
