Tonight at the American Legion Post 83
Come join me and Connecticut NORML at the American Legion Post 83 in Branford, CT tonight for an educational forum where we will be discussing Connecticut’s future with cannabis; the medical program and recreational legalization. We are very happy to be able to reach out to the veteran community at an American Legion, who has been very supportive in the fight for veteran alternative access to cannabis.
The purpose of this forum is to inform and educate the public, lawmakers and media about the negative effects of cannabis prohibition and to have a discussion concerning the road map towards legalization. Topics will include: The history of cannabis prohibition and its enforcement, cannabis physiology and the impact of prohibition on veterans, minorities and under-served communities.
This event is free to attend and open to the public.
