(WJAR) — A proposal to allow Rhode Island cannabis companies to advertise is moving forward.
If you’ve driven along highways in Rhode Island, you might’ve seen billboards advertising marijuana business. But they aren’t Rhode Island companies — they are all for Massachusetts shops.
Rules on advertising were supposed to fall under the state’s Cannabis Control Commission. But that commission has not been formed yet as it’s far behind schedule.
