MILFORD — Police are investigating a break-in at a local medical marijuana dispensary that occurred early Monday.
Around 3:30 a.m., police responded to a burglary alarm at the Curaleaf dispensary on West River Street, Milford police said.
The suspect vehicle, described as a black SUV, was seen fleeing the scene at a high rate of speed.
Police said the burglars went through the cash registers at the dispensary, but it’s unclear if anything was taken.
The thieves also attempted to steal an ATM, but were unsuccessful.
The group is also believed to be linked to attempted robberies in West Haven that occurred later that morning. Milford police did not have details on those incidents. A spokesperson for the West Haven police could not immediately be reached Tuesday morning.
