If you are not familiar to Canna Care Docs, they own and operate medical office catering to the needs of patients seeking cannabis-based treatments for debilitating medical conditions.
Canna Care Docs will opening its third Connecticut office at The Atrium plaza, 326 West Main St. Suite 200, Milford, on Feb. 28th. The location is convientely located close to I95, yet discretely located with right off the Post Rd.
“Milford will be our third office in Connecticut. We have a location in Hartford where we have been seeing patients since 2015, and another location in New London which we just opened earlier this month,” Kara Francese said of Canna Care Docs. She also stated “there are currently four dispensaries in New Haven County with a fifth opening later this year, so it’s a great area because patients have easy access to their medicine. There are now 31 conditions that can qualify a patient for Connecticut’s medical marijuana program, with the possibility of more conditions being added to the list this year.”
This is a great opportunity to give transparent access to the community. With over a 1000 medical professionals registered with the state of Connecticut to approve patient access, only a handful of doctors offices actually promote the treatment plan option online. Is this due to lingering stereotypes? If so, change is happening as we speak. People are hurting and Connecticut residents need to know there is support options available.
“Our company is dedicated to the idea that cannabis should be offered on the front lines of treatment rather than as a last resort, and that each patient should reserve the right to choose their own method of healing,” Francese said.
