LOUISVILLE, Ky. — U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) agents in Louisville made a large bust. In a shipment from Canada heading toward the Netherlands, agents found 750 pounds of marijuana. Louisville CBP inspects shipments coming through the city and the country seeking illegal items and substances. They then seize the items. The sale and distribution of marijuana is illegal in the U.S. According to the CBP data portal, the agency has seized 134,000 pounds of marijuana so far in this fiscal year. In 2022, they seized 155,000 pounds for the year.
