The Final Frontier for Infused Edibles
Edibles are amazing for pain relief. They are slower to kick in but they last longer and offer a larger amount of relief. Myself like everyone always thought THC was not able to be infused into water. Well, there are a couple products on the west coast legal market that say otherwise. Brands like MountJoy and Pearl2o are revolutionizing the way we look at edibles.
Typical edibles are seen as cookies, brownies, and generally other sweet treats. Those were always the go to because of how well butter absorbs the thc and obviously sweets mask the cannabis taste. As of the past few years, people have been leaning away from the norm with more savory products as well as infusing more oils (coconut, evoo, avacado..etc). Which is good for people who have diabetes and or are choosing to be health conscious when consuming edibles. The water infusion is awesome because most edibles take awhile to kick in, water takes WAY less time.
People are coming around
Edibles are the most discreet way to consume cannabis, obviously, there is no smell or smoke involved. Water is the substance most vital to life in humans, so it makes sense someone would figure out a way to infuse water. THC has not been known to break down in water, but through emulsion it seems like they have figured it out and it is very impressive. Its no secret the west coast is way ahead of the curve with cannabis, period. Everything from the medical cannabis laws, to the actual product itself. Hopefully, the east coast will catch on soon. We definitely could use some new goodies out this way for the patients. If Connecticut can band together and focus our efforts, we can have full recreation for everyone as well as cannabis just for the patients.
Everyone deserves to have access to this healing plant.
