I wanted to share some of my memories this Veterans Day in a different way. I’ve put together a playlist of songs that mean something different to me, remind me where I came from and express how I feel / felt at times in the service. Lee Greenwood – “God Bless The USA”

For every Marine who has completed the “Crucible” you know the importance of this song!  The moment you receive your Eagle, Globe and Anchor and you earn the title “Marine”.  I know it’s corny, but it freaking gets me every time.  Hahaha!

Trust me it gets better!

Rage Against the Machine – “Freedom”

This was what I grew up with.  I remember jamming out to this over in Iraq, when we were chasing the deck of cards!

Killswitch Engage – “A Tribute To the Fallen”

This song got me threw some tough times and it thrashes!!

Motorhead – “America”

I don’t know many maniacs that don’t like Motorhead!

All That Remains – “Sing For Liberty”

Salute to Phil Labonte from All That Remains. Happy Birthday Devil Dog!

Kid Rock – “American Bad Ass”

You couldn’t walk around without hearing this song!!! It goes nuts at 2:38!

Rob Zombie “We’re an American Band”

This cover of “We’re an American Band” is insane.  Zombie is a showman!

Jimi Hendrix – “The Star Spangled Banner”
