When I say 7/10 split, I’m not talking about bowling, I’m talking about my wig. As I pulled into the driveway I wondered if I could find a place to park, the place was full. Full of smoke, venders, treats, and joy.
I had arrived at the 1st ever 7/10 Hash Bizarre. Hosted once again by the NE Craft Cannabis Alliance. I didn’t have to pay to get in, I have a frequent flyer card. Even if you didn’t have your card it was only $5. Lots of vendors and a population of over 800 people throughout the day. This was twice as big as the opening day of legalization. Wow… There was no time for coffee and donuts. It was time to get the job done.
“Free Dabs!” Someone shouted from the alley of vendors. I guess they knew I arrived. I’d better not disappoint. I found my people, and found out DabbinDad and the New England Craft Cannabis Alliance now have a pop up dab bar!
I was welcomed with a fat dab of Animal Zookies, it didn’t disappoint. I was invited back throughout the entire day, it was great. I kept track this time and after all my visits I had consumed 32 dabs throughout the day. Excellent products, my favorite was the Funky Charms. They were magically delicious.
“I think I need to go get some creative lubricant.” I said making a joke. That’s when they all turned on me and began to throw things at me like I was some sort of bad act getting rained on by rotten vegetables. But this wasn’t any degenerating vegetation, it was joints, dabs, cookies, and this weird Scooby Snack thing. (if this is what they were giving that dog in the cartoon, I can see why he’d turn the world upside down for one). I love you guys.
“Are you crying again?” asked Butch from Sweetiva.
“I’m not crying, you’re crying.”
After wiping away the tears of joy I began trolling the vendors. I’m always looking for something cool, new, or unique. Then I crashed right into it. Literally, I walked right into their table not paying attention.
Fyre Badd Girl Buddz. Premium Flower and Hoe Made Edibles. It sounded like this was where I needed to be. I had a chance to meet with Fyre, the owner. She opened with “All full spectrum products made with premium kief.” You have my attention.
I got to try:
-Snickerdoodles
-Fudgey Brownie Bites
-CuppyCakes
-Gummies
-Chocolates
& a few other delicious infused culinary delights.
As I munched on these goodies we chatted about her organization. To start, it’s all women that own and operate Fyre Badd Girl Buddz. Fyre explained “We are good girls labeled as badd for our choice to use cannabis…. We are mothers, daughters, and sisters who have faced hardship through prohibition. We’re trying to help our communities heal from the pain that the war on cannabis has caused us and our families.” So in addition to being great bakers, they’re an advocacy group with a plan to eradicate discrimination against female cannabis consumers who are also parents. Fyre then packed me a little doggie bag and I was off on my merry way. I always love parting gifts.
“FREE DABS!” howled through the air.
“Don’t mind if I do… Oooo, a cold water hash demonstration. Let’s check it out.” Pat, the instructor went through the whole process.
Dropped his big bag of vegetation into his little washer and ran it through…
Purged the water through some bubble bags.
Scraped the remains off the screens of the bubble bags. Pulled up stuff that looked like it would kill Superman.
Dried it out and ended up with a booger that’ll knock your socks off.
Then the great cold water hash catastrophe of 2021 occurred. Pat accidentally pulled the hose out of the washer before the 3rd run and water went everywhere. Demonstration over.
“FREE DABS!!!”
“Okay…”
“Hey! This guy is gonna do a 3 gram dab. Check it out!” Someone yelled from the High Tide hash tent.
“Why not?” I thought. “It had already been a day of economics, education, politics, and activism… And now sports.”
Be careful. Don’t get Cannabinoid Hyperemesis Syndrome.😉
As I stepped back from the sporting event I noticed some really cool art from a group debuting for the 1st time called Art and Soul. After the event I had an opportunity to speak with one of the owners, Michele, who was very pleased. “This is our first time and we almost sold out. We are very pleased with the feedback and will definitely be returning to these types of events.”

These ladies have a bright future in art ahead of them… Just look at some of this stuff.
I was feeling weird. My world was melting. Things couldn’t get any weirder. It’s like a band of gypsies crashed into a carnival and sprinkled THC all over everything. Everyone was weird, strange, twisted, baked, and offbeat. You know… Good people. Just when i thought this entire day couldn’t be any more uncommon a mystery voodoo folk band appeared (Creamery Station) and Harley Quinn danced and played with fire..
I can’t make this stuff up…
As the evening came to a close a few of us settled down at the Cellar on Treadwell to have a beverage and call it a day. Frosty beverages filled our glasses followed by laughs and good times. The subculture is erupting. I can feel it crackle all around me. I’m gonna hold on tight for blast off because this is only the beginning and it’s just going to get bigger and better from here. Get your speedy pass, this is gonna be a great ride. On a cloud…
