Did you ever wake up to a warm fuzzy feeling? That type of energy in the morning that just makes you want to say something corny like “Carpe diem!” Gonna face the day, because it’s a great day, and it’s gonna be a day. Do you know what I mean? The sun is at your back and you face a beautiful day. Smiling faces in view, good vibes in the air, the music plays on, and the only thing you can find your self doing is basking in all of its glory and joy… G’Morning and welcome to the High Bazaar.
It was early, but I didn’t want to die… I overslept a little and everyone was breaking my balls, it was well deserved. But I was still there before Fyre from Badd Girl Buddz. 🤣 The coffee was hot ☕️, the donuts were fresh 🍩, and the…
First in line for Dabs. Coffee, donuts, and Cosmic Cake… Breakfast of champions. A brownie cup cake thingy? Don’t mind if I do. Top off the Joe, yes. Sour gummy? Sure thing. Infused Tea? As soon as I finish this cup of Joe… A pink joint? WTF?!?! What was I doing? Is that a Boba Fett helmet? The shape of The High Bazaar is different now, it’s changed again. Is the band playing “Ear Ache My Eye”? I’ll take that tea now and yes I would love another butter finger sugar bomb thingy.
I’ll be right there… It was The Grease Monkey. A hybrid indy dominant. Delish! It was like sampling fine cuisines. Next in the dabber was Paradise Citrus 🍊. I love limonene. All this before lunch…
Then there I was in smoker alley, a new addition to The High Bazaar that wrapped around the building. At one end of the alley was Dab Punk, me at the other. We squarely faced one another on the dusty street. It was going to be a face off like at The OK Corral. Before dozens of onlookers, step by step we approached each other slowly with steady hand just waiting for the other to make the first move. First there was the stare of the blood shot eyes and then…. No one could see the outcome as the air was thick with smoke. Then the dust settled… In the end, he smoked me with Gorilla Glue dabs. I was melted down on the spot, sweet tragedy.🤣
I found myself strolling the aisles slowly one at a time to take it all in. There was definitely much to see and this was the largest one yet. 900 in attendance and 50 exhibits of interactions on display. The incubation, collaboration, and transformation was occurring before my eyes and starting to gel. Growing is now on the mind of many, BIG TIME… Seed, cloning, dirt, and lights of enormous spectrum were on display and in discussion. Genetics from abroad as well as the people. Devices, glass, and all other implements of combustion lined the aisles. Everyone talking, interacting with each, and sharing ideas. It’s interesting to see the melting pot begin to heat… This thing is turning into something and it’s about to lay an egg or birth something. I’d order an ultrasound but I’d have no idea where to scan.
The sound of the siren…
I closed my eyes and pointed at the sign. I have no idea what it was, it had an earthy flavor and I had 5 of them.
Oh man… My vape pen died. The day was saved by The THC Leather Fetter Ninja Mutant Twins 👯♀️from the Just Buddz tent. >POOF< “Here’s a battery.”>POOF< And then I was back in action. I swear, sometimes I think I live in a live action cartoon…
The High Bazaar can be bizarre. More like a bizarre bazaar at times. Always something new or eccentric can be found in these weird environments that either leave me in a state of wonder or perplexity. This time I ran into an old friend and he had something to share. It was an ancient artifact from long ago, almost the beginning of time really. Our time anyway… He reached into his pocket to reveal a small white container, a medicine bottle. His eyes shifted from left to right as if he was going to show me plutonium or something. He removed the lid from the container and held it out for me to get an eye full. It looked like gerbil food and green sand. The aroma was much the same…
“What in the hell is that?” I asked as my left eyebrow stretched to the top of my skull in bewilderment.
“14002” he replied.
My mind was suddenly sucked down the rabbit hole of memory lane. Back to the days at the beginning of the medical program when the state was forcing a weird version of homogenization. It involved grinding everything up into almost dust. This was one of the first 3 strains to be released to the medical marijuana market place here in Connecticut. It was almost like looking at the Spiderman #2 or the second version of a Model-T. Nostalgic to say the least on this matter. It kinda’ made me want to sing the theme song to “All In The Family”. Those were the days…
From there to this. Thanks for the memories. 🤯
In the end I suddenly realized that I’m looking into a cauldron of intellectual cacophony. The strange are meeting with the innovative. I’m seeing nature encounter science while the culinary arts dance with instauration, new things are coming to life. Art and Soul paints the backgrounds of things never seen before while we all stand at the edge of something new and beautiful. We stir the cauldron again to try and see what’s to come. No definite answers surface, only a multiverse of possibilities and prospective options. Probabilities, potentials, and opportunities all fermenting to become eventualities in this new emerging reality we have all created for ourselves and each other.
I went to bed with the same warm fuzzy feeling I woke up with.
