One winter at a time, we enter the future, which is essentially positive. One winter at a time, things improve. We step into the cold to move forward out of the past. The world is, generally speaking anyway, a better place to live this year than it was last year. Right? So if you’re going to celebrate something, then have a drink to that. For example, last year I didn’t have this new bong or any of this weed or liquor. See? Things are better already.
Just in the past few months, 3 states have opened recreational businesses and one is planned for a top-of-the-year kick off event. Rhode Island and Missouri, along with New York have all begun to sell adult-use weed. While Connecticut will begin selling Rec Weed on January 10th 2023. Meanwhile on both state and federal levels people are being released from incarceration along with expungement of old records. That’s a great wrap for 2022. At least in my opinion. This is how we step into 2023. Things are getting better. Plus we got the basketball player back.
Was everything a big ball of joy? Hell no. But why focus on the negatives? Let’s embrace all that’s good if not just for the sake of the holiday season… Let’s not only embraces it though, let’s spread it around like a hearty scoop of peanut butter gliding across freshly baked bread still steaming in all of it’s crisp glory. Grow the good.
Each snowfall brings us closer to the blooms of spring, new growth and life. Along with the new experiences to it all. What’s to come will be interesting to say the least. I can’t wait to feast on all of the good, the bad, and the ugly. Because soon enough, it’ll all be behind us.
