Valley Sparkling Water. Good Stuff. Right here in CT
Authors Note:I’m once again late to the party on this… BUT WHO CARES?!?!? LOOK WHAT I FOUND!
Blueberries, I really do enjoy these small little round wonders of the mountain-berry flavor landscape. They have beautiful color schemes that range between blues and purples; sometimes both on the same berry. Often, they’re baked into things like muffins, or enjoyed frozen in a smoothy. Perhaps you are one of those savages who eats them straight from the carton with their hands, just like me.
BECAUSE THEY’RE DELICIOUS!!!
With that in mind… I was cruising the beer isle of my local bodega, all craft local. I mostly like reading the names. But then there it was. As if it was hiding, or being hidden. Valley Sparkling Water Blueberry & Acai (small purple berries from a South African palm tree), these guys are out of South Windsor CT. 🧐 Cool. The beverage is also infused with 25mg of weed extracted CBD. (In case you’re not aware… CBD is Cannabidiol, a cannabinoid found in weed. This cannabinoid is a very strong anti-inflammatory and an anti-spastic)
Yah, it says “Hemp” on the can. It’s weed. Words like marijuana and hemp are only legal terms. It’s all weed. Get over it.
By the way, there is no alcohol in this beverage. Why the hell was it being hidden in the beer aisle? I don’t know, weird. Whatever… Let’s do it.
This wasn’t what I had in mind, but it caught my curiosity. The costs were about the same. Let’s take a left instead of a right and see where it takes us.
I made sure it was ice cold when I prepared it.
I cracked that tallboy and it gave a classic fizz. Music to my ears.
I brought the beverage to my nose and invested a deep inhale. Blueberries in the beverage gave off a natural aroma, just like fresh ones. Not that fake stink that permeates your nostrils like lame candy that consists of water, sugar, and Blue32. The real deal.
I brought it to my lips and gave it a slurp, that turned into a gulp, and then a slight jug. Super cold and fizzy with a dominant after taste of fresh blueberries. Very flavorful yet not overpowering to the palate.
Plus it’s infused with CBD, 25mg per can. As an added bonus, it is water soluble. This means that there is fast absorption, it’s almost a direct connect. In most cases, it takes effect within 3-10 minutes and can last anywhere between 2-5 hours, depending on metabolism. So, in other words, the CBD is fast acting.
Hands down a craft quality local product that not only delivers the array of benefits one can get from CBD, but bears a natural flavor. I really liked it.
Good job guys!
If you come across it, it’s worth giving it a try. They have a whole bunch of flavors.
