I always look forward to the long holiday weekends (who doesn’t, would be a better question). On top of all the great bbq and spending time with family and friends, it gives me time to catch up on my Netflix watchlist.
Rolling Papers: A Documentary Film has been on my radar and was recently added to Netflix. The film is about journalists for The Denver Post writing stories about recreational marijuana after it becomes legal in Colorado. Rolling Papers is produced very well and covers enough subjects to keep your attention. From the Denver Cannabis Cup, discussions on CBD to how longtime readers of The Denver Post have reacted seeing their paper turn into a “weed newspaper” viewers will find something to resonate with. Additionally, the way they show the strains / edibles, on this smokey, dream like, fuzzy turntable will make you wish reaching through a TV screen was possible.
Can you picture Connecticut being like this? Leave us a note in the comments after you watch or if you’ve already seen the documentary letting us know your thoughts.
