A Storm Lake man was sentenced last week in Buena Vista County District Court to spend time in prison for marijuana distribution.
33-year-old Ketzell Zeledon pleaded guilty to a lesser charge of Delivery of Marijuana, a class D felony, and will serve up to five years in prison with the Iowa Department of Corrections. Zeledon was originally charged with Drug Distribution to a Person Under The Age of 18, a class B felony. Another previous charge of Child Endangerment, an aggravated misdemeanor, was dismissed by the court.
Zeledon was arrested on June 11th of last year by Storm Lake Police on charges that stemmed from an investigation in which he was accused of providing marijuana to a minor under the age of 18 and consuming the marijuana with them.
