GREAT BARRINGTON — The owner of Rebelle Dispensary in Great Barrington owes the state more than $424,000 in unpaid sales and marijuana retail tax, according to court papers.
The Massachusetts Department of Revenue sought and received last month permission to enter the dispensary at 783 South Main St. in Great Barrington and levy — or seize in other words — property to cover the debt, according to more recent documents filed with Suffolk Superior Court.
The state was able to get a bank levy on the business’ accounts. But was unsuccessful in getting money, according to court documents.
