THE brother of Vanderpump star Ariana Madix has been arrested months after allegedly being caught with over 100 pounds of marijuana at a Florida airport.
Ariana’s brother Jeremy Madix was arrested on Tuesday and charged with felony trafficking in cannabis, court documents reveal.
Jeremy, who has appeared on Vanderpump Rules alongside his reality TV star sister, was first caught in February, the court documents obtained by TMZ show.
He had been scheduled to board a flight to Frankfurt, Germany, alongside a man named Jonah Ahad on February 17, TMZ reported.
They were set to fly out of Orlando International Airport in Florida.
However, the two never made it past security, according to the court documents reviewed by the outlet.
While at the airport, the duo had their three suitcases searched by Customs and Border Protection.
Two of the suitcases belonged to Jeremy, per the court documents.
In those two bags, Customs and Border Protection agents found 64 bags of marijuana that weighed a total of 76 pounds.
The third suitcase contained 31 bags of cannabis that weighed 37 pounds.
Combined, they were allegedly traveling with a staggering 113 pounds of marijuana.
The court documents claim that both Jeremy and Ahad refused to speak with detectives without a lawyer.
The two were not arrested at the time, but it is not immediately clear why.
Ahad was ultimately taken into custody in May, while Jeremy was arrested on Tuesday.
Both have been charged with felony trafficking in cannabis.
Jeremy is the younger brother of Ariana Madix, a cast member on Bravo’s Vanderpump Rules reality show.
While Jeremy has appeared on the show alongside his sister in the past, he revealed in March that he hadn’t spoken to her in several months.
He claimed that he had last spoken to Ariana in December 2023.
The last message he had sent her at the time read, “I love you so much. I would love to talk to you soon.”
Jeremy claimed his sister never opened or responded to the message.
In March, Jeremy said he hoped he and his sister would reconnect.
“That’s my sister, she changed my diapers. She loves me very much,” he said.
