If you are a UFC fan you have definitely heard about Nick Diaz’s five-year suspension from the sport. I’m not a Diaz fan and he continuously broke the policy, right or wrong! I was in the military and when I was in, I followed the rules and guidelines that were established. Standing up for your rights is one thing, but to blatantly break the rules and to act surprised when punished is stupid. This course of action is not the way to change policy. I completely agree that they should not be testing for marijuana, last time I checked, it’s not considered an enhancement drug like steroids, HGH etc. What really gets me, he was banded in the State of Nevada which has a medical marijuana program in place. We all have rules that we follow, as a MMP patient, we aren’t supposed to smoke while driving. Does someone run the risk of getting pulled over and fined in this situation…yes. In that situation, I shouldn’t expect nothing to happen, I was informed. The rule was not instituted against him, but established well before. I feel no pain for him, even though I don’t agree with the policy.
