May your spirit sleep with the angels.
What can be said about the famous Cindy Day (aka Cindy HarvestHoney Day)? If she ever finished last, it’s only because she made you finish first.
She was the Advocate’s Advocate. She was a true Cannazon Warrior for as far back as I can remember. She advocated for much of what we have going on today in CT. Hemp, Decriminalization, Medical Cannabis, Pediatric use, and she raised money for the epilepsy foundation every year with a mud volleyball team.
Mudvolleyball Team Cindy Mae! We lost, but it was awesome.
She never did anything for the glory, fame, or possible pot of gold at the end of a rainbow. She simply did all of these things because it was the right thing to do. She put all of it before herself because to her it wasn’t about pot, it was about people. It was about access for our grandparents and better futures for our children. She was selfless to a flaw for greater goods, better tomorrows, and her people. Cindy was the best kind of person.
Cindy also had an amazing playful side, forever young. She’d rather find a field of tall grass to roll in than a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ restaurant. We’ve played tag for a decade. The last time I saw her, she told me I was ‘it’. Now, I can’t give ‘it’ back.
You will be missed Cindy. You were always a good friend to me and my family and you will never be forgotten. You will be forever in our memories and forever in our hearts.
We love you and miss you already.
