OTSEGO COUNTY, Mich.– The City of Gaylord has revoked a marijuana retail license from a local shop due to several violations.
The City of Gaylord’s attorney said Exclusive Brands, installed lighting on the building which was not compliant with the plan the city approved.
In addition, the store offered curbside pick-up.
But according to the city’s ordinance, all deliveries must be kept out of public eye.
Lastly, the store allegedly had a large tent placed in its parking lot without proper approval.
The city’s attorney said the Exclusive Brands attorney has assured him the violations were not intentional.
Exclusive Brands has 30 days to submit a written appeal to the Gaylord City Council.
