Today, I got up rather early for a Sunday morning. It was a relaxing morning, no kids! They spent the night over at Grandma and Grandpa’s house. I grabbed some coffee, still tired from the night before, before heading down to checkout some Dabbin Dad stuff. It wasn’t long before I was roasting the honeypot for some morning dabs. Nothing like a low temp dab, with a burst of flavor to start the morning!!! I checked out some new marijuana videos on youtube and zoned out for a bit, completely forgetting the escapades that just concluded the night before. I was brought back to reality with a ring of the phone… my wife was upstairs recovering from a crazy night of drinking. I’ll be honest, my wife does not drink excessively. It’s been awhile since I’ve seen her drink more than a couple glasses of wine, but boy did she have her drinking shoes on last night!!! She would have made a fine Marine! For any Marines out there, she could have taken on the KinVille Crawl in Oki last night.
I made sure she had some water and brought up some toast to soak up any remaining shots in her stomach. She blasted me with questions, all of which started with ” Did I really do…” I quickly, remembered that I needed to go outside to clean up the excitement from last night that was still in the driveway. I thought it rained fairly hard last night, but it didn’t wash away anything… sigh. We laughed for a while, talking about some of her comments at the bar, specifically, “how she was a grown-up, had money, and could buy as much beer as she wanted!” Which actually sounded at the time more like… sndkdankrep “adult”, sdarojoojgojov “money”, addaasdsw “all the beer!” It was a great night!!! I had a blast!!! I told her that it was ironic that she said that at the bar, because I had just had a similar conversation with my oldest daughter over candy.
I’m waiting for her to wake up from her morning nap, before the kids return. I’m interested to see if she wonders why everything she wore last night is soaked. She was infatuated with rain! She made me drive home with the window down in the pouring rain, so she could rest her head!
