Should you think twice before medicating with Sour Diesel and starting your day?
Dabbin Dad had been on me to finish up the Sour Diesel strain review. Knowing I couldn’t until later due to some errands; one in particular I had been putting off. What could that be you ask? A local trip most people consider the closest thing you can get to an actual purgatory. Three initials, long lines and you haven’t wanted to go here since you were 16.
Dabbin Dad recommended that for review purposes, I medicate using Sour Diesel before this trip, Dabbin Dad thought it would “enhance” the setting of the review. How did Sour Diesel (and King Dab) hold up?
I smoked one gram in a Raw Paper Cone before arriving to my destination. Let me say, if a visit here does not try your patience, consider yourself a lucky human being.
Waiting in the first line, at this point out the main door, people lined up similar to a lamb being led to slaughter. I was assigned a number, ‘A561’. Amongst a sea of people and the buzz of a room full of voices *DING* a computer voice follows with “Now serving ‘A519′”, 42 people ahead of me, luckily Sour Diesel is very fast acting and long lasting. I made it through the two and a half hour task, without feeling irritated or the need to leave and medicate.
Personally, Sour Diesel has always been a reliable strain. Anytime I have medicated with Sour Diesel the effects are consistent, a pleasant high that leaves me with enough energy to go about my day and a pinch of “extra patience”.
This batch of Sour Diesel had nice fluffy buds and a strong bitter scent, it’s what I can hear someone saying “taste like what weed should taste like” if they weren’t familiar with the variety of medication available today.

Summary
If you’re looking for a good “Wake And Bake” strain, Sour Diesel is a great place to start. In my experience, very consistent high with long lasting effects. It left me sociable with a mellow, cerebral high. Sour Diesel has always received exceptional remarks across the internet and it’s not hard to see why. While there are better (it’s all personal preference anyway, right?) strains out there, there are certainly much, much worse.
