That is right people. CPS aka CT Pharma has released a new strain today and it’s called Goudaven. We have to admit this CT MMP friendly name is fairly easy to identify once you know it what it’s really called by everyone outside of the medical program. We are excited to check out this lineage and if you like any “Cheese” based cultivars, you should like this offering as well. Make sure to let us know in the comments below.
What is Goudaven?
Goudaven is new to the state medical program and adds to the inventory of cheese-based offerings. The aroma of this hybrid will either make you smile ear to ear or cringe to the overwhelming smell of dank old stank cheese.

About Critical Cheese
According to Wikileaf:
For those of you that are fans of the Cheese family, you will not be disappointed with this rendition of a Cheese strain. Born to the breeders at Dinafem by crossing Critical Plus and ultra-potent Cheese strains, Critical Cheese rides the fine line between super tasty and maybe leaning towards nasty, depending on your tolerance for rank, dank smelly cheeses.
With THC levels staying at a very steady 19% users can expect a long lasting, heady high. This bud is well known for its minty, buttery cheese flavors that are punctuated by a sharp tang that borders sour milk. This can sometimes be too gross for some users and is a common turn off. The aromas are much the same – incredibly strong with stenches of cheese and mint with the same tartness of turned milk. When burned, the smell fills the room within seconds. The lumpy buds are grape shaped and as minty as their smell with yellow leaves, amber hairs, and thick oversized trichomes.
If you’re feeling all the crazy flavors and want to give this intense high a chance, you’ll find that both of the parents have lent their best attributes to this child strain. The euphoria hits right away with a hard bang, uplifting the spirit, opening the chest, and relaxing you to the core. You may find yourself hazy, yet focused and motivated. Sometimes it hits with increased anxiety and paranoia, especially when smoked to excess, so novice users take note – if you dare to try this one, be aware of your limits. Enjoy the deep conversations and deep relaxation you’ll experience.
Growing Critical Cheese is not recommended indoors for anyone who may need to be discreet as the pungent aromas tend to seep out of the cracks. With an average flowering time of 9 weeks, a plant that can hit eight feet in height and is difficult to grow brings along its fair share of caution, especially for beginners. Whether you choose to grow inside or out you’ll have a well above average yield, however, you will need to have ample experience to achieve that level of success.
Sour milk might not sound like something you want to dive into, and maybe for many that will be the case, however, if you do brave the flavors you won’t be mad you did. This is a hard-hitting high that, for experienced users, is an absolute delight. Without knocking you completely out, it lifts your spirits, relaxes your body, and keeps you giggling and motivated for a long period of time.
