OPELOUSAS, La. (KLFY) – St. Landry Parish Authorities say a major synthetic marijuana dealer has been arrested.
Narcotics Investigators with the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office conducted a joint operation with Homeland Security and the United States Postal Inspectors at 745 Hall Street in Opelousas. Authorities say the investigation revealed that the major component of synthetic marijuana (MDNB-INACA) was shipped from China making its way into the United States and ultimately at the home of Logan Thomas.” Sheriff Bobby Guidroz said, “This investigation discovered that Logan Thomas was one of the largest suppliers of synthetic marijuana in St. Landry Parish and this seizure represents the largest interception of its kind in the parish thus far.” Sheriff Guidroz continued, “Both Logan Thomas and his girlfriend Shante Thomas conducted narcotics transactions with a minor child in the residence.”
