MOORESVILLE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A Charlotte man was arrested on felony drug charges in Mooresville Saturday after a traffic stop.
According to the Mooresville Police Department, officers conducted a traffic stop Nov. 30 on a vehicle on River Highway (N.C. 150) near Interstate 77. A subsequent search of the vehicle allegedly resulted in the seizure of four pounds of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and a concealed handgun.
Lekeon Davajia Brown, 27, was charged with the following:
Felony Possession of Marijuana,
Felony Possession with Intent to Sell or Deliver Marijuana,
Felony Maintaining a Vehicle to Keep/Sell/Use a Controlled Substance,
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia,
Carrying a Concealed Weapon, and
Window Tint Violation.
Brown was placed in the Iredell County Detention Center under a $15,000 secured bond. He was arrested in June by Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police on similar charges.
