According to the Connecticut State Police record, Monson police were in pursuit of a suspect wanted in connection with a domestic violence incident on Saturday. The woman, identified as 27-year-old Tiffany Marie Cahl of Monson, was driving a black Toyota Rav4 with a flat tire when she crossed the state line into Connecticut.
At around 12:27 p.m., Monson officers contacted Connecticut State Police requesting assistance with locating the vehicle. It was last known to be traveling south on Route 32 into Stafford. Stafford officers and state police located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop on Route 319. The driver pulled over, got out of the vehicle, and ran into a wooded area.
After a brief foot pursuit, the Trooper along with Monson officers, arrested Cahl and was taken to a hospital for evaluation. Connecticut State Police charged Cahl with interfering with an officer and reckless driving. She was released on a $75,000 surety bond and is scheduled to be arraigned on October 2nd in Rockville Superior Court.
