EUGENE, Ore. — A new ballot measure could make a big difference for workers in the cannabis industry.
This November, Oregon ballot Measure 119 will be up for vote.
It will be the deciding factor in whether cannabis workers will be able to unionize.
Marijuana was legalized in Oregon in 2014 by way of Measure 91, but the measure did not include the right to unionization in the field which has been called an oversight by some.
