VERNON — The town’s first cannabis dispensary is now offering adult-use recreational products after opening on a limited basis in January when it provided only medicinal products.
Acreage Holdings, the parent company of The Botanist on Route 83, announced Monday that the Vernon location is now operating as a hybrid dispensary, providing a variety of products to both medical patients and adult customers who use cannabis recreationally.
“We are thrilled to open our doors to adult-use customers at the first cannabis storefront in Vernon,” Ben Tinsley, Acreage’s vice president of New England operations, said. “Since opening earlier this year to medical patients, our Vernon dispensary has performed well with positive feedback on the selection and quality of products as well as the overall customer service experience.”
The dispensary is open between 9 a.m. and 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m on Sunday, according to its website.
It offers a variety of products that can be purchased in person or preordered online and picked up, including flower, pre-rolls, vapes, edibles, and accessories.
“With expanded services now in Vernon, our Connecticut retail footprint is completely hybrid, and we look forward to continuing to connect with new customers across the state,” Tinsley said.
The Botanist is the Acreage Holdings’ third location in Connecticut, with other dispensaries located in Montville and Danbury.
