Ok, this is getting frustrating. Not that long ago, Connecticut was touted as being progressive with its medical program. That ended quickly, because we are one of the few states without the ability to attack the opiate crisis with the assistance of cannabis. It wasn’t that long ago that Pennsylvania has harder on cannabis than Connecticut, going as far as arresting advocates/patients who decided to meet together to medicate. When will CT get out of it’s own way and start taking cannabis reform seriously?
The Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection should light a fire under the Board of Physicians to get them to add more conditions. This program is majorly slacking. With decriminalization of cannabis already on the books in Connecticut and Massachusetts passing recreational adult-use, how much longer will patients put up with this so-called medical program’s grab for your cash? Support the patients in Connecticut or lose the revenue. Demand compassion!
