“Ultimately, the assessment concludes that “the positive effects of a regulated marijuana market in NYS outweigh the potential negative impacts.” And further, that “areas that may be cause for concern can be mitigated with regulation and proper use of public education” that prioritizes at-risk populations.”
When will Connecticut legislators open their eyes and ears? It is disturbing to see that every state around CT understands that cannabis is not a threat and are making strides to legalize the plant and allowing people to grow. This is a simple and no-brainer issue that politicians are simply dragging their feet on.
