Here is some exciting news for anyone who plans to travel to Florida or any residents from the North East who likes spend the winters transplanted in the sunshine state, medical reciprocity.
What is reciprocity you ask?
Florida SB 1328: Reciprocity for the Medical Use of Marijuana
GENERAL BILL by Albritton
Reciprocity for the Medical Use of Marijuana; Providing that a qualified patient identification card or a caregiver identification card, or either’s equivalent, issued by another state, by a United States territory, or by the District of Columbia, has the same force and effect as a medical marijuana use registry identification card issued by the Department of Health, etc
We all have heard the horror stories about those who travel with their medicine. Why should patients be forced to choose health over travel?
What other states have reciprocity?
Here are the state’s that have medical reciprocity. Note just because laws allow, some states like Arizona, do not allow you to visit their in-state dispensaries.
