When was the last time you went to a party? What do you remember about it? I bet it wasn’t anything like this. This is the true uniqueness of The High Bazaar, it has a different environment every time it opens. Sometimes it seems like a freak show carnival with a great set of legs. Other times it seems more like a think tank. But this time, it seemed more like a party. Live music, food, edibles, and great smoke were all part of the atmosphere.
I arrived early, I like to watch it all roll out now. I looked on from the rooftop. It’s like watching something come to life now. This time around a party came to life. What a wonderful party it was.
Most people think of a party where there’s shots, beers, and normally someone overdoing it with everyone finding them upside down in a bush somewhere eating a cake. This wasn’t one of those side bender raging soirées. This was a ball of a different kind, some elements remained the same. But we dance to the weird beats of our own drums here…
Bands and DJs played throughout the whole day. Several times a song was played that just hit those perfect chords in the ear of my mind. Suddenly you’re on a trip down memory lane, good or bad, but it’s a skip down the lane none the less. Sometimes, music is simply the best photo album anyone can ever have. Unless of course, you’re one of those people that likes to lie to themselves. The soundtrack of life played on. Today, I am a major consumer. Some might call it inspiration, I call it food. It gives us the energy to press on, like Tater Tots from The Cellar on Treadwell but of a much large caliber. Right up my alley. Let the music play…
There’s an atmosphere here today, good vibes. All walks of life are rolling through this place. Headbangers, Gangbangers, Hippies, and just simple freaks have all come out to play in the daylight. Lots of new faces, from patrons to vendors. This thing grew again… It’s gonna split a seam.
Theres Dab Punk. It’s on like Donkey Kong.
He had a new rig and some concentrates to boot. The concentrate looked like something the SwampThing coughed up. It was gross and beautiful looking all at the same time. It glowed like the Holy Grail. Yellow, like an ‘Evil Morty’ portal that you just wanted to jump through. They were so good, I forgot the name. Super smooth and brain numbing all at the same time. Since that was trans dimensional sh*t… Can I call you “Dab Person”? We’ll get you some bong wings?
Even in Paul’s absence, the free dab line stayed busy even without all of the shouting. I must admit, it seems sadly quiet without it.
That’s when I noticed The People’s Champ. Our Mohamed Ali. The 2nd place winner for flower at The Boston Freedom at The Squash Off. With The Wedding Cake for the win. Badd Girl Buddz.
They had their prize winner on display for the viewers to gaze upon. For display only. Everyone wanted a pice of this. None to be had. Display Only. Some even offered WAY to much for it. DISPLAY ONLY. None for you. Look with your eye, not your lungs. But guess who got a nice piece to take home? This guy….
Hands down some of the dopest dope I’ve ever smoked. With an amazing tangy flavor with peppery undertones made it a big hit on flavor. Kind of fuel flavored on the exhale, which I completely enjoyed. It left me feeling happy, blissful, and euphoric with no ill side effects like dry mouth or paranoia. And before I broke it apart and set it on fire, it was pretty too. If this is 2nd place… 1st place must have delivered an orgasm. Yes, I would love one of your cupcakes, thank you.
More art, clothing vendors, and fun stuff.
I traded one of my Green Crack joints for a Garlic OG with one of The Leather Thong THC Divas. This was delicious and got me wicked baked while I was strolling around when suddenly…
“ARGH!!!” Came to mind, I didn’t scream out load even though I wanted to. I was suddenly surrounded by some sort of exotic reptile zoo. Lizards, snakes, and other assortments of creepy crawlies were all suddenly within arms length. I didn’t want to make any sudden moves… What if they were jumpers? They were all looking at me sideways, this is how I knew they were serious. I backed away slowly. I didn’t want to be eaten. A lizard puffed and I needed to flee. It’s a good thing there’s no liquor here. I might try to put a saddle on one and ride off into the sunset. As I backed away from these cold blooded beasts, I bumped into someone’s table. I Can’t Believe It’s Pot Coffee. I love these guys…
One of the things I like about what these guys do is that the infusion isn’t with their coffee, it’s within the coffee condiments. The mixings are the heart of these yummy beverages. It’s in the dairy and non-dairy creamers along with the sugar. So depending on how light and/or sweet you like your caffeinated beverage is how intense your experience will become. Lay it on me.
“Can I have it D&D style? Where it’s all cream and sugar with 3 drops of coffee for color?” I asked.
“Here you go, just the way you like it.”
After that, you could have poured me into a cup.
The day was upbeat and rocking. It was electrifying and thrilling. It was wild and crazy. Fast paced with a slow roll. It was totally laid back, chill, and quite relaxing. Right up my alley… Social and fun all day long.
If you haven’t attended one of these yet, you really are missing out. Come out on a Saturday and have a good look into all things weird. Plus, in the coming months The High Bazaar is going to be themed. Cannabinoid engineering meets holiday festivities. I sure these will be sights that you won’t want to miss out on.
Baked Pilgrims in November.
